2. Regulatory status

StockFlows.ai is a software product. We are not:

  • a registered broker-dealer or securities exchange (e.g. SEC / FINRA);
  • a registered investment adviser (RIA, MiFID II adviser, FCA-authorised firm, ESMA-supervised entity, ISA-licensed entity);
  • a bank, payment institution, money services business or e-money issuer;
  • a Virtual Asset Service Provider (VASP) or crypto exchange;
  • a custodian of customer funds or securities.

We do not execute trades, hold customer funds, custody assets, or provide personalised financial, tax or legal advice. Use of the platform does not create a fiduciary, broker–client or adviser–client relationship.

3. Market data licensing

Market data displayed on StockFlows.ai is licensed from Polygon.io via Massive. You access this data as an Edge User of the StockFlows.ai dashboard, in accordance with sections 2.2 and 6.1(e) of our agreement with Massive. Data is shown inside the dashboard interface only.

You may not bulk-download, scrape, redistribute, resell, sublicense, or republish raw market data obtained through this site, whether in original or derived form. Data may be end-of-day, delayed, simulated or otherwise non-real-time. See the Disclaimer for full details.

4. Sub-processors and third-party services

We rely on the following categories of sub-processors to operate the service. Each is bound by a written agreement that restricts use of personal data to providing the service to us.

  • Hosting & database: Lovable Cloud (managed Postgres, auth, storage and edge functions).
  • Content delivery & runtime: Cloudflare (edge network, DDoS protection, Workers runtime).
  • Transactional email: Resend (auth and account notification emails).
  • Market data: Polygon.io (delivered via Massive).
  • Payments (when enabled): Stripe — handles cardholder data; we never see full card numbers.
  • Analytics: a privacy-respecting analytics provider (e.g. Plausible / PostHog) for aggregate usage.

5. AI providers

Some features summarise news, score sentiment, suggest tickers or generate commentary using third-party Large Language Models accessed through the Lovable AI Gateway. Current upstream model providers include Google (Gemini) and OpenAI (GPT). Inputs sent to these models may include the prompt context required to generate the output (e.g. ticker symbols, news article text). We do not send account credentials or payment information to model providers.

AI output may be inaccurate, biased, outdated or fabricated. Always cross-check before acting on it — see the Disclaimer.

6. Trademarks and attribution

"StockFlows", "StockFlows.ai" and the StockFlows logo are trademarks of the operator. All other product names, company names, logos and trademarks referenced on this site are the property of their respective owners. Their use does not imply endorsement of, or affiliation with, StockFlows.ai.

The platform incorporates open-source software. Notices and licenses for significant components are available on request at legal@stockflows.ai.
