Accessibility Statement

Last updated: October 2025 · Last audited: October 2025 (internal self-evaluation)

StockFlows.ai is committed to making its platform accessible to the widest possible audience, regardless of ability or technology. We aim for conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA.

1. Conformance status

This site is partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 Level AA. "Partially conformant" means that some parts of the content do not yet fully conform to the standard. Conformance has been self-evaluated by the StockFlows team; we have not commissioned an independent third-party audit.

2. Measures we take

To support accessibility we:

  • build with semantic HTML (landmarks, headings, lists, buttons, links);
  • maintain visible keyboard focus styles and ensure all interactive elements are keyboard reachable;
  • use color tokens chosen to meet contrast targets in our dark theme;
  • provide text alternatives for meaningful icons and images;
  • add ARIA roles and labels where native semantics are insufficient;
  • design responsive layouts that work from 320px wide upward and respect user zoom up to 200%;
  • respect prefers-reduced-motion for non-essential animations.

3. Known limitations

Despite our best efforts, some areas of the platform are not yet fully accessible:

  • Complex data tables (heatmaps, dense market grids) rely on visual layout; we are progressively adding row/column headers and summary text.
  • AI-generated summaries may include formatting or terminology that is not optimised for assistive technologies.
  • Some legacy widgets may be missing ARIA labels — we are remediating these.

4. Compatible technologies

The site is designed to work with recent versions of:

  • Chrome, Edge, Firefox and Safari (desktop and mobile);
  • NVDA and JAWS on Windows;
  • VoiceOver on macOS and iOS;
  • TalkBack on Android.

The site may not work well in browsers more than two major versions out of date or with assistive technology that does not support modern web standards.

5. Feedback and contact

We welcome feedback on the accessibility of StockFlows.ai. If you encounter barriers or have suggestions, please contact us at accessibility@stockflows.ai. We aim to respond within 10 business days. When reporting an issue, please include the page URL, the browser and assistive technology you were using, and a short description of the problem.

6. Enforcement and formal complaints

If you are based in the European Union, you may have rights under the European Accessibility Act (EAA) and your national implementing legislation. Users in the United States may refer to the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may escalate to the appropriate enforcement body in your jurisdiction.
